SOEDESCO and Studio Aurum have teamed up to release Monster Crown on Nintendo Switch, a Kickstarter-backed dark monster breeding and taming game that has clearly taken some inspiration from Pokémon.

After Crown Island had been ruled by the sadistic, monstrous Philosopher Kings for 20 years, it took a group of young men and women to overthrow them. But now, a dangerous woman threatens to revive them, and, therefore, it’s up to you to prevent their return.

You will have monster companions to help, with the chance to catch and tame all sorts of creatures that roam around the island. These can be bred or fused to create new species that will be even more potent in battle.

Monster Crown will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
