Niantic has released a new software update for Pokémon GO on iOS devices, that brings the location-based game to version 1.75.0.
The patch notes reveal that the developer has added the ability to view and activate items like Rare Candy and TMs directly from a Pokémon’s information screen, that they have improved in-game error codes and made other undisclosed bug fixes and performance updates.

Won’t open, keeps sending me back to App Store
Like everyone is saying, opening the app causes a version check
The app says “Oh, theres a new version out, I’ll take the user to the App Store to download it”.
But in the App Store, it thinks the version is up-to-date and shows the wording ‘Open’ instead of ‘Update’.
Clicking ‘Open’ from the App Store reopens Pokemon Go, which instantly crashes the app.
How do I get out of the update loop?

This is not working at all. Goes direct to App store, wont allow you to load, stuck in loop. Needs immediate fix.
I got the update and tons of exeggutors in app on Android I don’t know about iOS tho. Hope you all get the update soon
After updating to new update… it gives me fail to log in message… what the heck! I want to do my dailys to get more research done! Hurry up and fix this!!

Crashes with the most recent update. Can’t even login.
I’m getting same “failed to log in” message, but only on older phones. Moto G3 and Moto G4 confirmed not working. Meanwhile, my account can play just fine on newer Moto or Samsung. Don’t want to have to borrow a friend’s phone or buy a new one myself just to be able to play again!
Failed to log in error can be fixed.
1. Force stop the game
2. Clear the game’s cashe
3. Clear the game save data
You will have to enter birthday again, but account will be just how you left it.
