Niantic has pushed live a new software update for Pokémon GO on iOS, which brings the augmented reality app to version 1.1.0.
As with version 0.31.0 on Android, the update adds the opportunity for players to re-customise their Trainer avatar, adjusting battle move damage values for specific Pokémon, improved memory issues, removing footprints of nearby Pokémon, and addressing bug fixes that occur in wild Pokémon encounters.
The update notes outline the following improvements that have been made to Pokémon GO:

This update was terrible. It reset my entire game!! I lost everything I had and when I signed in this am, I am a level 1, with nothing 🙁
Also, i had to rename my Trainer as if i neve existed and could not get my name again. I am so disgusted
Is nobody addressing the no battery saver function?
Nope I’m also having the same problem, whenever I try to sign into google, it takes me to google.ca instead of back to Pokemon go and if I click done then it will take me to a white screen that is forever frozen.
They took down the other sites suck as pokevision when their own tracking was broken, that’s bs. Pokevision was the only way to track then after the three step glitch. Bad move by taking it down.
Couldn’t login my game in level 18, spent more of my value time and money to purchase coins.
What can I do with this situation? ????
