Niantic has released a new software update for Pokémon GO on Android devices, which now sees the augmented reality app sat at version 0.35.0.

This introduces Pokémon Appraisal, a new tool that lets players learn about a specific Pokémon’s attack and defense capabilities from their Team Leader.

Changes Made In Pokémon GO Update Version 0.35.0

  • Implemented Pokémon Appraisal: Trainers will now be able to learn about a Pokémon’s attack and defense capabilities from their Team Leader (Candela, Blanche or Spark) to determine which of their Pokémon have the most potential for battle.
  • We are still working hard on several new and exciting features to come in the future of Pokémon GO.

    1. The appraisal system is very broken and flaw riddled. The appraisal for a CP 1900+ creature reads identical to the appraisal of a CP 20 pokemon. Which am I to really believe? They both cannot be the exact same!
