Niantic has announced that Dortmund in Germany will host a Pokémon GO Safari Zone event this summer, from Saturday 30th June – Sunday 1st July.
It will take place in Westfalenpark, which, as the developer explains, is not only one of the largest inner-city parks in Europe but also has elaborate water features, a Japanese garden, and large playgrounds for children and families.
With the chance to breathe in some fresh air while enjoying some beautiful views, Trainers throughout Europe will have the chance to explore Dortmund’s cultural history through Pokémon GO with activities to take place across it.
