Nintendo has announced that the release date for the Pokémon GO Plus accessory has been delayed until late September.
The Nintendo Official UK Store had previously suggested that pre-orders would be delivered by 31st August 2016, although the accessory has since been struck by another delay.
“We regret to announce that the Pokémon GO Plus accessory launch has been delayed. This item will now be released in September, not July as previous communicated,” the retailer shares. “We’d like to apologise for this delay, and we understand that this change could affect whether you’d like to complete your order.”
Those that have pre-ordered are then given guidance as to whether they would like to continue or withdraw their order, with those that choose to still keep their pre-order told that it will be delivered by 30th September 2016.
Regardless of their choice, those that pre-ordered have been given a £5 off when they spend £30 or more voucher for their next order. This is valid until 31st August 2017, meaning that it will save some money once Nintendo NX arrives.
