It has been announced that the Pokémon GO Plus accessory will be exclusive to the Nintendo Official UK Store.
The portable device, which is priced at £34.99, will notify Pokémon GO players about events in the game, such as a Pokémon appearing nearby. It connects to a smartphone through Bluetooth, and notifies players using an LED and vibration. Players can press the button on the device to catch Pokémon, or perform other simple actions.
Nintendo warn that the accessory cannot be used without the Pokémon GO app, and will require a compatible smartphone.
The Pokémon GO app is scheduled to launch on the App Store and Google Play in late July, and will be compatible with iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, SE, 6, 6s, 6 Plus and 6s Plus devices with iOS 8 – 9.
