Niantic has announced that Pokémon GO is now available to download on the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store.

The free-to-play location-based game quickly became a global phenomenon, and actively encourages players to explore their surroundings where they will discover and capture Pokémon.

Your phone vibrates when a Pokémon appears nearby, taking aim before readying a Poké Ball to throw in their direction. Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment, such as Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans.

Other than that, you can expect to battle against rival teams for ownership of Gyms, or discovering PokéStops – placed at museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments that will help you to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

There’s also the chance to level up, hatching Pokémon Eggs, catching more powerful Pokémon, or evolving them as you work to complete your Pokédex.

Pokémon GO is now available on the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store worldwide.
