Pokémon GO has taken the world by storm, and has added more than $7 billion to Nintendo’s market value after it dominated App Store and Google Play charts in the United States.

There has been an incredible fascination around stories from those that have headed out on an adventure to hunt pocket monsters in the real world, and that has can be seen more tangibly over on Google Trends.

As spotted by YouPorn, more users are now turning to Google worldwide to search for news, information and tips relating to the augmented reality app, than they are for more explicit material that pervades online.

Pokémon GO has quickly eclipsed the search term, which, while not being particularly parable, demonstrates the wider impact that it has had on conversation.
