Pokémon GO GDC 2016 Session Cancelled

GDC 2016 has revised their session schedule, revealing that Niantic’s Catch ‘Em All: Pokémon GO and Real World Gaming presentation has now been cancelled.

The scheduled session, which was to see Niantic CEO John Hanke discuss the project, had promised attendees a first-hand, in-depth look at how players will interact and explore the world with one another in the augmented reality application.

It is unclear as to the reasoning behind the cancellation, or whether the presentation will be rescheduled for another time.

GDC 2016 will be held between 14th – 18th March 2016, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
