The Pokémon Company International and Niantic have revealed a commemorative in-game Pokémon GO event will take place next week to celebrate Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl’s launch.
The event will run between Tuesday 16th – Sunday 21st November 2021, during which you will have the chance to encounter special Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplip that are wearing hats inspired by the game’s protagonists.
You will also be able to receive Avatar items based on the protagonists’ outfits for free in Pokémon GO’s in-game Style Shop, as well as avatar items with Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup motifs that you can buy with PokéCoins.
There will also be more Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl spwaning in the wild and in raids during the event period.
Pokémon GO is now available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices worldwide.
