Pokémon GO Easter Event Is An Eggstravaganza

With the arrival of Spring and the Easter weekend upon us, Niantic has announced that they will celebrate with an Easter event in Pokémon GO.

The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza becomes the next in-game event in the location-based game, after the 589 million Magikarp that were caught in the Water Festival event.

The Eggstravaganza runs from 9pm BST on Thursday 13th April to 9pm BST on Thursday 20th April 2017, and will see you discover a greater variety of Pokémon from 2km Eggs. Trainers can also earn more Candy for every Pokémon hatched from an Egg.

Trainers will also level up faster and gain double XP for every action that they take, while Lucky Eggs will carry a 50 percent discount for the event’s duration. When used, it can mean that Trainers can earn four times the amount of XP that they normally would.
