Sanoyas Interaction has announced that they will open a Pokémon EXPO Gym in Japan this November, in anticipation of the 20th anniversary milestone that the series will reach next year.

Siliconera reports that it will become the first hands-on ‘edutainment’ facility in the country, allowing visitors to learn advanced tips about training their Pokémon, using abilities and encouraging them to communicate with others in activities.

These will include Charizard’s Battle Colosseum and Gardevoir’s Control Score, which will reward those that complete the activities with special Pokémon to redeem in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.

A Pokémon EXPO Gym Gear app will be released for smartphones, which displays visitor’s stats and will let them rank up at the facility. Whereas, from October 31st, fans can pre-order a Pokémon EXPO Gym Member’s Card & Pass Case at Osaka’s Pokémon Center store.

The Pokémon EXPO Gym will be based in Osaka, Japan, and opens on November 19th.
