The Pokémon Company International has revealed a mid-series trailer for Pokémon Evolutions, its “limited animated series” which has been created to help celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary.

The eight-episode series promised to take fans on a journey through each of the Pokémon world’s known regions. Starting in the Galar region that players could explore in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, the animated series will culminate in the Kanto region which was first seen in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green.

With each episode focusing on a story from a different region, you can continue to look forward to experiencing familiar tales from Pokémon lore “told from a fresh perspective.”

Four episodes have been released so far, taking fans back to the Galar, Alola, Kalos and Unova regions. The remaining four episodes will let you return to the Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto and Kanto regions.

Produced by The Pokémon Company International in collaboration with OLM Studios, the final four episodes of the series will premiere exclusively on the official Pokémon YouTube channel and Pokémon TV worldwide on the dates below:

  • Thursday 9th December: “The Wish” featuring the Hoenn region
