Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have announced that they will open a Pokémon Detective Pikachu Pop-up experience in London next month.

This will open to the public on Friday 3rd – Saturday 4th May, a week before the live-action comedy adventure hits cinema screens, and the two-floor experience will be based in Covent Garden.

Those that visit the venue will find fun photo opportunities and bright yellow walls on the ground floor, where, just like Detective Pikachu, they can recharge with a Detective Pikachu-printed coffee, hot chocolate drink, yellow turmeric lattes, or yellow bubble tea at the coffee bar.

Whereas the basement space will reflect the movie’s fictional Ryme City, where, recreating the neon-noir style, visitors can channel their inner Jigglypuff in interactive karaoke booths and visit nail art stands by WAH Nails.

There will also be other activities and opportunities, like yoga with Frame, Detective Pikachu cupcake icing with Kim-Joy, Psyduck-inspired relaxation head and shoulder massages with My Beauty Squad, and Mr. Mime-inspired miming classes with Electric Cabaret. These workshops will be free but ticketed, which you can soon apply for.
