Pokémon Conquest sequel could be on the cards

I loved Pokémon Conquest, so rumblings regarding a potential sequel are enough to excite.

With the original apparently began development before the Nintendo 3DS had existed, taking three years to complete. It strode toward the Nintendo DS predecessor, meaning that it skipped its successor whilst also missing out on the many new critters that could be found in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Tecmo Koei’s newly appointed executive vice president Hisashi Koinuma recently hinted toward a sequel on Twitter, when responding to a fan’s query with: “Well, there was a lot of unfinished material for Pokémon Conquest…”

It’s also suggested that The Pokémon Company International’s CEO and president, Tsunekazu Ishihara, is an enormous fan of the Nobunaga’s Ambition series, and would therefore be keen to see a sequel developed.
