The Pokémon Company has revealed plans for Pokémon Center Shibuya, which will open in the Shibuya Parco shopping center.

That will be the same location as the official Nintendo Toyko store, with the two companies already “working on collaborations to provide better experiences” at both stores.

“This new Pokémon Center is being built under a new concept, that merges Pokémon with the latest technology and, with support from other partners, will surely become not just a place to shop but an exciting destination for Pokémon fans to visit,” explains Pokémon Center Co. Ltd president Yoriomi Uego.

“The new location will feature a stylish black design, with a Mewtwo status positioned at the entrance. We look forward to delivering a new Pokémon Center experience that visitors will want to tell their friends and family about, and also building a mutually enriching relationship with the town of Shibuya and the Shibuya Parco shopping center.”

Pokémon Center Shibuya will open at the same time as Shibuya Parco, with work scheduled to be completed by Fall 2019.
