A Technical Machine (TM) can teach your Pokémon new moves that they would otherwise be unable to learn in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, and we have listed their locations across the Sinnoh region.
As with the original Nintendo DS games (and those that came before Pokémon Black and Pokémon White), TMs are single-use items meaning that they can only be used once before they break. It wasn’t until Generation V that the change was made to allow players to use them an unlimited number of times.
We have prepared the following list to help you hunt them out, naming all of the moves taught by the TMs and their locations:

TM08 | Bulk Up | Fighting | The user tenses its muscles to bulk up its body, raising both its Attack and Defense stats. | Battle Park or Grand Underground |
TM09 | Bullet Seed | Grass | The user forcefully shoots seeds at the target two to five times in a row. | Route 204 or Grand Underground |

TM11 | Sunny Day | Fire | The user intensifies the sun for five turns, powering up Fire-type moves. It lowers the power of Water-type moves. | Route 212 or Grand Underground |

TM14 | Blizzard | Ice | A howling blizzard is summoned to strike opposing Pokémon. This may also leave the opposing Pokémon frozen. | Lake Acuity, Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
TM15 | Hyper Beam | Normal | The target is attacked with a powerful beam. The user can’t move on the next turn. | Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
TM16 | Light Screen | Psychic | A wondrous wall of light is put up to reduce damage from special attacks for five turns. | Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
TM17 | Protect | Normal | This move enables the user to protect itself from all attacks. Its chance of failing rises if it is used in succession. | Veilstone City or Grand Underground |

TM21 | Dazzling Gleam | Fairy | The user damages opposing Pokémon by emitting a powerful flash. | Galactic Warehouse, Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
TM22 | Solar Beam | Grass | In this two-turn attack, the user gathers light, then blasts a bundled beam on the next turn. | Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
TM23 | Iron Tail | Steel | The target is slammed with a steel-hard tail. This may also lower the target’s Defense stat. | Iron Island or Grand Underground |

TM46 | Thief | Dark | The user attacks and steals the target’s held item simultaneously. The user can’t steal anything if it already holds an item. | Eterna City or Grand Underground |
TM47 | Steel Wing | Steel | The target is hit with wings of steel. This may also raise the user’s Defense stat. | Route 209 or Grand Underground |
TM48 | Skill Swap | Psychic | The user employs its psychic power to exchange Abilities with the target. | Canalave City or Grand Underground |
TM49 | Scald | Water | The user shoots boiling hot water at its target. This may also leave the target with a burn. | Grand Underground |

TM58 | Endure | Normal | The user endures any attack with at least 1 HP. Its chance of failing rises if it is used in succession. | Veilstone City or Grand Underground |
