The Pokémon Company International has revealed the Platinum Style Outfit as an extra early purchases bonus for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl on Nintendo Switch.

Those that buy either a physical or digital copy of the game before Monday 21st February 2022 can receive the Platinum Style Outfit along with the previously announced Manaphy Egg. These can be downloaded by choosing Get via Internet from the Mystery Gifts feature, which you can access after playing the game for approximately two hours. You will be able to change your outfit at the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City.

As confirmed before, those that purchase and download the digital version from the Nintendo eShop before Monday 21st February 2022 will also receive a code that can be redeemed in-game to unlock 12 Quick Balls.

Lastly, those that choose to buy the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Pack bundle will receive a code for 200 in-game Poké Balls. You will receive two codes, each for 100 Poké Balls, that can only be used one-time per save file.

The Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl remakes are developed by ILCA, with ILCA’s Yuichi Ueda and Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda directing the project, fans are promised the chance “to experience the original story and game features from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl in a fresh way.”

Trainers will choose either Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup to be their first partner Pokémon before setting off on their journey. Along the way, they will be able to encounter the Legendary Pokémon Dialga in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and the Legendary Pokémon Palkia in Pokémon Shining Pearl.

The original games have been faithfully reproduced and colourfully revitalised for Nintendo Switch. The sense of scale of the towns and routes has been carefully preserved, and fans who played the original games will recognize many familiar places. These games are updated with the easy-to-understand, player-friendly conveniences introduced in recent Pokémon core series video games, in addition to up-close-and-personal Pokémon battle scenes.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 19th November 2021.
