Nintendo of Europe have today announced plans to release a duo of Nintendo DSi bundles featuring a system especially created to coincide with the release of Pokémon Black/ White on March 4th.
Within the UK, all retailers will offer a bundle including Pokémon White Version and a White Nintendo DSi console printed with images of Reshiram + Zekrom, whereas GAME will exclusively sell a further bundle incorporating Pokémon Black Version with a Black Nintendo DSi console that features printed images of Reshiram + Zekrom.
“We know that Pokémon has a loyal fanbase and we are delighted to be offering them this exclusive opportunity to get their hands on a limited edition Pokémon-branded Nintendo DSi console,” commented Charlotte Knight, Head of Category Management for GAME.
Further to this, for a limited period of time following the release of the game, selected UK retailers will wirelessly distribute an item called the ‘Liberty Pass’ that will be available to both Pokémon Black or Pokémon White versions. With this, players will be able to meet Victini within the game!
Victini is a newly discovered Mythical Pokémon that may only found in the Unova region, and is the first Pokémon to be both psychic and fire type. Fans will have to ensure that they download the Liberty Pass as it won’t be available through normal play and will only be within participating retailers for a limited period.
