Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 will launch across North America on October 7th and Europe on October 12th, Nintendo have confirmed.

Alongside this, Pokémon Dream Radar will also be available for purchase through the Nintendo eShop on the same date. The downloadable title allows Nintendo 3DS owners to catch Pokémon, including those that are rare, through use of the Nintendo 3DS capabilities, including its cameras, motion control and augmented-reality technology.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 return players to the Unova region, two years following the events of the original games. New areas await to be discovered, such as Virbank City that plays home to the Pokéstar Studios in which trainers can make their own movies with their favourite Pokémon.

This is then premiered at the in-game theatre, where the audience will award a rating based upon script choices and battle move sequences, players even able to make sequels to their existing movies.

Familiar friends also return, including Cheren and Bianca, although much has changed. Bianca is now the assistant to Professor Juniper, helping her with Pokémon research, whereas Cheren is now a Gym Leader and a teacher at a school in Aspertia City – which is the starting location for this new adventure.

Nintendo have also confirmed that Pokédex 3D Pro will release for Nintendo 3DS during autumn, encompassing detailed information about every known Pokémon featured in the history of the Pokémon video game series.
