The latest episode of Pokémon Smash has aired in Japan, bringing with it information of the new Pokémon game previously teased by Game Freak director Junichi Masuda.
He confirmed that they are to release the third, and fourth, games of Generation V, due to release on Nintendo DS across Japan during June 2012 – Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.
This came alongside news of a character distribution event in Japan that will tie in with the new bullet train in Kyushu Shinkansen. Players will be able to receive a Pikachu with a unique special move, Extreme Speed, with further details being announced on Monday.
