The Pokémon Company has confirmed that they will have a presence at Gamescom 2016, which takes place in Germany next month.

This will continue their celebrations surrounding the brand’s 20th anniversary, as well as their meticulously planned marketing push toward Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon‘s launch in November.

Battle director Shigeki Morimoto will be attending and his appearance promises to lend insight into the world of Pokémon, while a surprise has been teased. Whereas a special Pokkén Tournament competition will take place at the Battle Corner in Nintendo of Europe’s booth.
