Pokémon and Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D nominated for “Ultimate Game of the Year” award

Nintendo are calling on fans to vote for their favourite games, as over thirty titles available for Nintendo platforms have received nominations within the 2011 Golden Joystick Awards.

Epic adventure The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D leads the charge in both the “Best RPG” and “Ultimate Game of the Year” categories, with Pokémon Black and White versions also nominated within the latter category.

Other titles such as Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie and Donkey Kong Country Returns have also received nominations, and to view all games vying for success you can visit the Golden Joystick Awards website for more information.

The 2011 Golden Joystick Awards are due to take place in London on October 21st.

  1. I’m sorry but as much as I like ocarina of time, there is no way a re-re-re release should even be a thought in any kind of game of the year. There have already been 3 damn releases of this game, N64 gamecube technically virtual console and now the 3ds I call shenanigans on that one.
