Pokémon 2016 International Challenge June Registration Opens Next Week

With excitement continuing to swirl around Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, you may forget that the competitive season continues with the 2016 International Challenge June.

Competing with the 2016 Video Game Championship Series format, this is another chance for top finishers to be rewarded with Championships Points to help them earn an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships.

All battles will be Double Battles played in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, and Pokémon from earlier games transferred using Poké Transporter cannot be used. (the blue pentagon is required). Any Pokémon that is either above or below Lv. 50 will be set to Lv. 50 for the duration of the match.

Registration will open at 00:00 UTC on Thursday 16th June 2016, and participants will need a Pokémon Trainer Club account, a copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, and a party of eligible Pokémon. You will also need to read and accept the regulations on the Pokémon Global Link before the battle period begins at 00:00 UTC on Friday 24th June 2016.
