Play Nintendo Tour 2016 Treks Across The United States

Nintendo of America has announced the Play Nintendo Tour 2016, which will let parents share with their children the magical experience that Nintendo’s characters once provided in their own childhood this summer.

The 12-city tour will visit malls and other locations across the United States, and will let attendees try playable Nintendo 3DS games such as Yoshi’s New Island, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Kirby Planet Robobot, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Yo-kai Watch.

Nintendo will run exciting contests with amazing prizes, provide photo opportunities with their iconic creations, and the entire play area experience bursts with colour. Separated into sections themed around each game, that can see you sit on Yoshi eggs, recline on giant bananas, whack a blue Spiny Shell, and slide down a flagpole.

“With the Play Nintendo Tour, there’s a surprise around every corner for kids and kids at heart,” comments Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “The tour’s massive play area is filled with Nintendo 3DS games and charming worlds themed around classic games and characters.”
