Nintendo of America are to shortly kick off their three-month long Play Nintendo Tour 2014 this week, the first stop being in Los Angeles between June 6th – 8th.
The free event will allow attendees to experience the 2DS, with games including Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mario Kart 7, Pokémon X & Y, Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and Yoshi’s New Island.
These will be spread across themed gaming zones, with banana-shaped seats, a giant Poké Ball, and Yoshi egg chairs, while costumed characters will see appearances from Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong and Kirby.
A Mario Kart 7 area will put drivers skills to the test, with winners able to move on to the main stage to play Mario Kart 8 and demonstrate their prowess on a giant TV screen.
This week’s tour stop will be at Westfield Culver City, with timings as follows:
June 6th – 7th: 10am – 9pm
June 8th: 12 – 6pm
