Versus Evil and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition will release on Nintendo Switch next month.

In the Kickstarter-backed role-playing game, you can create your character as one of 11 classes as any of the six available races: Human, Aumaua, Dwarf, Elf, Godlike and Orlan.

With the chance to side with different factions and forge allegiances with a party of companions, you will journey across a fantasy realm where your choices have far-reaching consequences.

With monster-infested dungeons to explore and challenges to overcome, the Nintendo Switch port will include the two-part downloadable content, The White March: Part I and The White March: Part II.

You can also expect all the major updates that the original PC version received, such as a raised level cap, expanded party AI options, and new difficulty levels.

“We are thrilled to be announcing that Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition is launching on Nintendo Switch in August,” enthuses Versus Evil general manager Steve Escalante.

“Our continued partnership with Obsidian reaffirms our combined commitment in delivering one of the best RPG experiences available to Nintendo Switch players.”

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 8th priced at £44.99 (€49.99 / $49.99) and can now be digitally pre-ordered with a 20 percent discount.
