Devolver Digital and Sectordub have announced that Pikuniku will release on Nintendo Switch this month, a charming dystopian adventure that takes place in a strange and playful world where everything is not as happy as it seems.

In this absurd puzzle-exploration game you play as Piku, a fresh-faced, armless outsider who must help the townsfolk face their fears, uncover a deep state conspiracy and rebuild a cheerful community.

You will help peculiar characters to overcome their struggles and bizarre requests, start a revolution and there’s the chance to team up with a friend in cooperative levels that have been designed for two players.

“While watching my mistress’s stepchildren play through Pikuniku, I realise this was a video game product that even an ultra-wealthy elitist like myself could enjoy,” explains Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker.

Pikuniku will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on January 24th, priced at £10.29 (€10.79/$12.99). It’s now available to pre-order with a 10 percent discount in North and South America, and in the rest of the world from Thursday 17th January.
