The Pokémon Company International has confirmed that a giant Pikachu balloon will once again dominate the New York skyline in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year.

That marks the sixteenth time that the electric mouse will have added its spark of excitement to the parade, which by tradition takes place on Thanksgiving morning. It will be the same balloon that was introduced last year, which sees Pikachu sport a more seasonal look and carry a smaller Snowman Pikachu.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place on Thursday 26th November, and will be aired live across the United States on NBC starting at 9am in all time zones.
