Pikachu 3DS XL met with long pre-order queues

As pre-orders opened across Japan for the recently unveiled Pikachu 3DS XL, Tokyo’s Pokémon Centre saw hundreds queue around the block to ensure they didn’t miss out.

At 10am the queue stood at an approximate figure of 300, yet continued to grow as they day progressed, in the end taking staff four hours for it to be cleared in its entirety.

Let’s hope that such popularity could see the limited edition design make its way westward!
