Jupiter Corporation has revealed that Picross S7 is coming soon to Nintendo Switch.

This seventh iteration in the popular puzzler series adds support for touchscreen controls on the portable home console, meaning that you now have the option to choose between Touch Hold or Touch Toggle input methods on the puzzle board.

For Touch Hold, “the input mode will be turned on while holding the button or stick, and turned off when released,” whereas for Touch Toggle “the input mode will be toggled on or off every time the button or stick is pressed.”

In Picross S7, you can expect to have to conquer 300 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, 150 Clip Picross piece puzzles, 30 Color Picross puzzles, and five Extra puzzles. That’s 485 puzzles on the whole.

Those that have play data from Picross S4, Picross S5 and/or Picross S6 can also unlock three large 40×30 Extra puzzles.

Picross S7 will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on 27th December 2021, and across North America on 10th January 2022 priced at £8.99 ($9.99)
