Jupiter has announced that Picross S SNK Classics & NEOGEO Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch next week.
This collaboration project sees characters from SNK’s arcade and NEOGEO library appear in the popular picture crossword puzzler series, letting you uncover pixel art illustrations from 50 games that include Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury Special, The King of Fighters ’94, Metal Slug 2 and Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
You can expect the usual Picross, Mega Picross, Color Picross and Clip Picross modes, as well as an Extra mode that has larger puzzles from which you will recreate famous scenes. There is also a new Time Attack mode, in which you must complete puzzles within a given time limit.
There’s also an Art Gallery where you can browse key visuals at your leisure, and grid guidelines that the developer hopes will help make it easier to select squares while sharing content when streaming or on social media. Those playing on Nintendo Switch 2 can also choose to use mouse controls with the Joy-Con 2 controllers.
Picross S SNK Classics & NEOGEO Edition will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 27 November 2025, priced at £16.19 ($17.99).
