In a surprise move, Nintendo has released Picross 3D Round 2 on the Nintendo eShop in North America, although those in Europe will have to summon more patience.
The puzzler sees players paint blocks with two colours of paint to reveal more elaborate shapes, their selection being driven by hints that will help uncover the object hidden within. With more than 300 puzzles to wrack your brains over, compatible amiibo can also be used to unlock puzzles that hide secret Nintendo characters.
While the Nintendo 3DS exclusive won’t arrive in Europe until December, Nintendo of Europe has released the original Picross 3D on the Wii U Virtual Console service to tide you over in the meantime.
Picross 3D Round 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, and will be available in Europe on December 2nd.
