2K and HB Studios have revealed that PGA Tour 2K21 will release on Nintendo Switch, bring the officially licensed golf simulation game to the portable home console.
PGA Tour pro Justin Thomas has been chosen as the cover athlete, with the game promising “the return of the great golf video game that fans have been missing.”
This has seen The Golf Club series evolve, now including 15 licensed PGA Tour courses that have each been scanned using cutting-edge technology to accurately recreate each course with every fairway, green, bunker, tree, lake and pond.
“Being chosen to be the first-ever cover athlete for the premiere PGA Tour 2K game is a tremendous honor,” enthuses Justin Thomas, 2017 FedExCup Champion, PGA Championship winner and former World No. 1 on the Official World Golf Ranking. “I’m excited to join the 2K family and challenge players everywhere on the digital links.”
He will be joined by 11 PGA Tour pros who will each present a challenge for players in the PGA Tour Career Mode as you compete to become a FedExCup Champion.
You will also be able to create and personalise your MyPLAYERs with equipment and apparel from licensed brands such as adidas, Polo Ralph Lauren, Malbon Golf, Callaway Golf, Bridgestone Golf, TaylorMade Golf and more.
Renowned broadcaster Luke Elvy and analyst Rich Beem will provide play-by-play commentary, with the experience having been “designed for players of all skill levels.”
There are real-time tutorials, tips and shot suggestions to provide guidance for newcomers, while veterans can master their games with Pro Vision, Distance Control, Putt Preview and other innovations.
You can also expect the chance to compete against friends in local and online matches, such as Alt-Shot, Stroke Play, Skins and 4-Player Scramble. Whereas Online Societies will let you invite your squad to hit the clubhouse and run full seasons and tournaments with unique entry rules and requirements, as well as handicap and event settings.

PGA Tour 2K21 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 21st August 2020.
