ATLUS has confirmed that Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth for Nintendo 3DS will soon receive a western release, the sequel to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth that stars protagonists from Persona 3, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 and Persona 5.

In Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, Persona 5’s Phantom Thieves who find that they have become trapped inside movie-themed dungeons that are each based on different movie genres. As you work out how to make your escape, you will also meet a mysterious girl called Hikari.

IGN reports that there is a new Unison battle system that will add bonuses for certain team-ups after completing side quests, while the game will only have Japanese voice over with English subtitles.

The Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth Showtime Premium Edition ($69.99) has also been revealed, that will include a physical copy of the game, a 5″ Koromaru plush toy, an art book, four buttons based on each protagonist, and playing cards. Those that pre-order a standard physical copy will also receive the set of four protagonist buttons, as a Launch Edition.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Europe and North America on June 4th.
