Three Bees has announced that its coming-of-age point-and-click narrative adventure Perfect Tides: Station To Station is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Written and designed by Ocopus Pie creator Meredit Gran, the game looks to spotlight “the thrill and whiplash of a young woman’s hesitant first steps into adulthood.”
You will travel to the big city with 18-year-old Mara as she leaves her comfortable island hometown to begin her, hopefully, invigorating college experience.
Helping Mara to pursue her dreams as a young writer while navigating the challenges of her first year of independence, each season will present new opportunities and challenges. That will see her succeed or fail in forging lasting friendships and discovering romantic partners as Mara learns to balance her personal goals, social life, and school responsibilities.
With branching story paths, you will develop Mara’s writing voice by living life day by day – guiding her through classroom conversations and social gatherings. The lessons learned and experiences discovered are then used to help Mara produce thoughtful essays (or incoherent rambles) in her quest to become a literary legend.
“The city’s mass transit system is where Mara does a lot of her thinking,” explains Three Bees founder Meredith Gran. “Bringing Perfect Tides: Station to Station to the Nintendo Switch felt appropriate – players will be able to take it on the go as they experience their own journeys through life.”
Perfect Tides: Station to Station will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2025.
