The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) has issued a rating for Tales of Eternia Remastered on Nintendo Switch.

“Role-playing game which follows the story of Reid and his friends, Farah and Keele, as they meet a mysterious girl named Meredy who speaks an unknown language. Their subsequent quest to discover her origins leads them across a dimensional boundary to an entirely different realm known as Celestia,” the rating reads in outlining the game.

“This game contains depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human and fantasy characters. Players defeat pixelated enemies using magical attacks and will wield weapons such as daggers, spears, swords and axes. Violence can be frenetic with exaggerated and colourful impact-like effects. Players have a health bar which depletes when hit and characters can be heard and seen in a non-detailed way reacting to pain upon impact. If a member of the player’s squad is defeated in battle, they will remain on the ground, whilst defeated enemies typically quickly vanish. This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’.”

Having recorded a video message to marking its 30th anniversary, Tales of series producer Yusuke Tomizawa had stated that more remastered games were in the works: “We will continue to advance the remaster project with the goal of assembling as many remastered titles as possible, as quickly as possible.

“The next title we announced the other day is Tales of Berseria Remastered. This year, we have announced three remastered titles, and since they were completed relatively recently, we will continue advancing our project to bring you even more classic masterpieces from the past starting in 2026.”

After Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, the Remastered Project began and continued to deliver Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Tales of Graces f Remastered, Tales of Xillia Remastered and Tales of Berseria Remastered, with Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered also confirmed to be in development.
