PDP has revealed plans to release the GameCube-inspired Wired Smash Pad Pro for Nintendo Switch, targeted at those looking to pick up Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when it launches on the portable home console in December.
The wired controller, which has a 10-foot USB cable, not only promises players “a strong connection during crucial moments,” but will let players choose whether to play with traditional C-Stick or a full-size stick.
There are three character designs that have been shown so far, which, as you will soon see, take their inspiration from Link in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo’s moustachioed icon Mario, and Pokémon mascot Pikachu.
The Wired Smash Pad Pro will release for Nintendo Switch this holiday.
