Even Pokémon GO will be joining in the Pokémon Day celebrations, with The Pokémon Company announcing that a special Pikachu wearing a festive striped purple hat will appear around the world as you explore.
This special Pikachu will know the move Present, and, once caught, will reward Trainers with triple the usual Stardust that they would normally receive. It will appear in the location-based game until 1pm PST (9pm GMT) on Wednesday 28th February.
The Pokémon Company has also released Pikachu Talk for Amazon Echo and Google Home devices, and released a Bulbasaur Snapchat Lens for a limited time.
