Nintendo has revealed that Nintendo 64 classic Paper Mario will be made available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers next week.

From Friday 10th December 2021, the game that started the Paper Mario series will come to the portable home console.

After Bowser steals the magical Star Rod and lifts Peach’s Castle into the sky with help from Kammy Koopa, it’s up to Mario to set out on a “momentous journey” to rescue the seven Star Spirits who are guarded by Bowser’s handpicked minions. That will see you trek across the tropical jungles of Lavalava Island to the frosty heights of Shiver Mountain.

The Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online collection launched in late October with nine games: Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Lylat Wars, Sin and Punishment, Dr. Mario 64, Mario Tennis 64, Operation: WinBack and Yoshi’s Story.

Nintendo recently revealed that Nintendo Switch Online now has more than 32 million subscribers.

The pricing plans for Nintendo Switch Online are £3.49 ($3.99) per month, £6.99 ($7.99) for three months or £17.99 ($19.99) for 12 months. There is a 12 month Family Membership for £31.49 ($34.99) that allows a Nintendo Account holder to “invite up to seven others to join a family group” that will all have access to Nintendo Switch Online.

Whereas an individual membership to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is priced at £34.99 ($49.99) for 12 months, with a Family Membership priced at £59.99 ($79.99).
