Hi-Rez Studios has revealed that the Paladins will release on Nintendo Switch next week, following rumours that the free-to-play fantasy team-based shooter was headed to the portable home console.

The Paladins: Founder’s Pack (£24.99 / €29.99) is now available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop in Europe, as an invite to join the more than 25 million players that wield guns as magic as a legendary Champion of the Realm.

This will provide you with early access to the game, immediately unlocking all Champions, their voice packs and exclusive cosmetics with the Nintendo eShop listing explaining that Paladins “will be available as a free-to-play game later this year.”

The accompanying trailer adds that Paladins runs at 60 frames per second and will have “crossplay multiplayer,” which, we can assume will be against players on Xbox One and PC.

The Champions that you can play as range from sharpshooting humans to mech-riding goblins, mystical elves, and jetpack-clad dragons, with a deckbuilding system helping you to customise your abilities to make each Champion your own.

Paladins: Founder’s Pack will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on June 12th, priced at £24.99 (€29.99).
