Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared a graphics comparison trailer for Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, which is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
This has looked to showcase “how iconic boss battles and diverse environments have been faithfully reimagined for a new generation of players.”
Originally released in 2002, this 3D platformer takes the iconic character on a journey across Pac-Land. Exploring six unique worlds with environments such as meadows, an ice peak, and a volcano, you must face off against the Ghosts and their boss, Spooky.
The fan-favourite game has been treated to a full remake, offering new and enhanced gameplay, full voice acting for each character, new collectibles, customisation options and the chance for two players to experience the game in local co-op multiplayer for the first time.
Those who own the remake of the original game, Pac-Man World Re-Pac, can unlock an exclusive in-game Toc-Man costume at launch.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 26 September 2025.
