PLAYISM and Petit Depot have revealed that Gnosia will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.
Promising to be a “one-of-a-kind sci-fi adventure game,” the crew of a drifting spaceship must face a mysterious and deadly threat known as the Gnosia.
These aliens can take the form of humans, working to get in close, trick and deceive before eradicating each person in their vicinity from the universe one at a time.
With no idea who among them is really the enemy, this “spin on the social-deduction genre” will see you play against up to 14 NPCs as you work to formulate a desperate plan for survival.
Whoever is deemed to be the most suspicious will be put into “cold sleep” one after another, in an effort to rid the ship of Gnosia. However, it will be impossible to ever tell whether those placed into cold sleep were really Gnosia or not.
“A mysterious lifeform called the Gnosia has blended in amongst your crew. It is your goal to find out who it is and put it into cold sleep,” explains Petit Depotto producer and director Toru Kawakatsu.
“Each playthrough takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. You can customise the number of Gnosia and roles to play against a maximum of 14 NPCs. It is unlikely you will play through the same loop twice.
“Why does time keep looping and what exactly is the Gnosia? We hope you enjoy this experience that is only possible through the medium of games. Uncover the mysteries we have laid out for you in this game.”
Gnosia will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
