Microïds has announced that Asterix and Obelix XXL2 will release on Nintendo Switch next month, challenging you to fight the armies of Roman legionaries.
In this remastered version, you can look forward to enhanced graphics with new textures and models for characters, enemies and environments, a new store system where you can unlock upgrades, three new difficulty levels, new challenges as bonus missions and a collectible system – letting you collect in-game postcards and figurines.
There will be an Asterix and Obelix XXL2 Limited Edition and an Asterix and Obelix XXL2 Collector Edition that will be made available at retail.
The Limited Edition will include the game and three Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix figurines. Whereas the Collector Edition will contain the game, an exclusive Asterix figurine made of resin (15cm), an exclusive t-shirt (child size) and two lithographs.
Asterix and Obelix XXL2 will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 29th.
