Square Enix has announced that Oninaki will release on Nintendo Switch, a new action-RPG from I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear developer Tokyo RPG Factory.
You will have the chance to explore the world as a mysterious Watcher called Kagachi, duty-bound to sever the bonds that tie the Lost to the Living World. Only with his guidance can these wandering souls return to the Beyond – the realm of the dead – so that they can continue the cyclical process of reincarnation over again.
In battle, you must “manifest” the souls of Daemons, which act as the classes that are usually found in traditional role-playing games. Each has its own unique weapons and skills, and you can shift between them in real-time to help gain the upper hand in battle.
Oninaki will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2019.
