Bandai Namco Entertainment and Koei Tecmo Games have revealed plans for a One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Character Pass on Nintendo Switch.
This will see the developer add nine additional characters that will be released as part of the Character Pass, or can be purchased individually.
Those that pre-order the game will be rewarded with the chance to unlock the Vinsmoke Brothers – Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji – early, as well as receive two Dynasty Warriors crossover costumes: in the Wang Yuanji – Hancock Costume and Cao Pi – Law Costume.
There will also be four iconic Wano costumes made available for free from launch day, which are: Luffytaro (Luffy), Zorojuro (Zoro), Soba Mask (Sanji), and Onami (Nami).
As the Wano Country arc is still continuing, the upcoming action game will have “an original retelling of the adventure.”
That comes in addition to the chance to experience the original story of the Straw Hat Crew as well as the most recent Whole Cake Island arc.
That follows the crew in their quest to retrieve Sanji from Big Mom, one of the most dangerous, and largest, pirates.
There are eight new playable characters that will join Luffy on his adventure: Jimbei, Sanji Vinsmoke, Ichiji Vinsmoke, Niji Vinsmoke, Yonji Vinsmoke, Reiju Vinsmoke, Zoro, and Carrot.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 27th March 2020.
