Bridgend’s Omer Khan has achieved greatness, having now been crowned UK Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS National Champion!
London’s York Hall played host to the Grand Final last Friday, with regional heats whittling down competitors to select 32 finalists who competed over eight hours in an effort to claim the title.
“I have been a huge fan of Super Smash Bros. since the N64 but I never thought I would actually win a national tournament!,” Khan commented. “I faced some challenging and enjoyable battles and am genuinely grateful that I had the opportunity to participate in this event. I am, of course, looking forward to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and any future tournaments!”
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is now available worldwide, with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U soon to launch on November 21st in North America and November 28th in Europe.
