Nintendo of America has surprised everyone this holiday with the Nintendo Power Podcast, which is now available on SoundCloud, iTunes, and will come soon to Google Play Music.
The podcast is hosted by former Nintendo Power editor-in-chief Chris Slate, and, in this debut episode, he is joined by Nintendo Minute co-host Kit Ellis and Damon Baker, head of publisher and developer relations at Nintendo of America.
Within it, they look back at their own reactions to Nintendo Switch throughout 2017 – which covers their favourite memories from the past 12 months, third-party and indie games, and Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – before Chris discusses the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi.
