Nintendo have once again turned to Japanese peripheral manufacturer Hori to produce licensed accessories to coincide with the launch of Mario Kart 8.
The Wii U exclusive will, somewhat expectedly, be supported by separate Mario and Luigi-branded racing wheels. Their design echoing that of the branded Wii Remote Plus controllers that saw release last year, each in the character’s signature colours.
Alongside this there are protective Wii U GamePad cases, again in either Mario or Luigi colour variations. These are adorned with the character silhouetted on their kart in the lower-right corner and the Mario Kart 8 logo in the top-left, with the reverse side being blue.
Each product will launch on May 29th, when Mario Kart 8 speeds into retailers across Japan.
